The Best Avocado Toast

Hearty, whole-wheat toast dressed with mashed  avocado, alfalfa sprouts, and sunflower seeds.

Ingredients: ​​​
 

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread

  • 1 avocado

  • 1/2 tbsp lime juice

  • Pinch of garlic powder

  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast

  • 1/2 cup alfafa sprouts

  • 2 tsp sunflower seeds

  • Salt and pepper to taste
     

Directions 
 

  1. Toast two slices of whole wheat bread. 
     

  2. While bread is toasting, slice the avocado, removing the pit and scooping the avocado into a bowl.
     

  3. Combine avocado, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and garlic powder in a bowl. Mash ingredients together with a fork. 
     

  4. When the toast is ready, spread the mashed avocado onto each slice. Top with sprouts, nutritional yeast and sunflower seeds.
